FA Euro will field a team in the Long Island Soccer Football League this season.
After the success of the club’s Under-23 United Soccer League Two reserve team program, the club will feature a men’s team in the LISFL’s Premier Division.
The U-23s, directed by coach Glendon Cateau, finished their season as quarterfinalists in the LISFL’s Ryder-Vass Cup this past summer and saw

several players such as Nermin Buljubasic, Sory Konate, Vincent Balsamo, Alan Ponieman and Henry Hysenagolli promoted to the club’s USL League Two team.
“We want to promote playing continuity for the players who do not compete collegiately.” executive director Marco Balsamo said. “The men’s team program will compliment the USL League Two program, and keep our players fit and sharp during the whole year while playing competitively at a high level year-long.”

The FA Euro team will feature in both fall-spring league play, league cup and Eastern New York State Soccer Association Cup. The team will be guided by USL League Two head coach Joe Balsamo and Angelo Orlando with a staff that includes Glendon Cateau, Joseph Cayenne and Devad Buljubasic.
